What keeps StayBee worth trusting.
A marketplace only works if both sides feel safe. Here is what we verify, what we expect from you, and what we do when something goes wrong.

Host verification
Every host completes a profile with a verified email and a working contact number before a listing can go live. New listings are reviewed before they appear in search.
- Verified Premium Hosts carry enhanced checks and higher support expectations, and are held to a faster response standard.
- A premium badge is earned through verification and track record — it is not the same as a paid premium placement.
- Ratings and guest reviews come only from guests with a completed booking, so they cannot be bought or faked.
Listing quality
Listings must show the real property. We remove listings that use stock or borrowed photos, misstate the location or amenities, advertise a price they will not honour, or duplicate another host's listing.
Safe communication and payment
- Keep messages and payment on the platform — off-platform requests are the single most common fraud signal we see.
- No host should ask you to pay a deposit by UPI, bank transfer, or gift card to 'hold' a booking before it is confirmed on StayBee.
- A listing offering an unusually deep discount and pushing you to pay immediately elsewhere is a scam. Report it.
- We will never email or call you to ask for your password or a one-time code.
For guests
- Read recent reviews, not just the rating, and check that photos are consistent with the description.
- Confirm check-in and check-out timings before you travel, especially for flexible-timing stays.
- On arrival, if the property is materially different from the listing, do not settle it privately — report it within 24 hours so we have a record.
- In an emergency, contact local emergency services first. Report to us afterwards.
For hosts
- Provide working smoke detectors, clear exits, a fire extinguisher where appropriate, and basic first aid supplies.
- Disclose anything a guest would want to know in advance — stairs, pets on the property, construction nearby, security cameras at entrances.
- Never place a camera or recording device inside a private space. Any exterior camera must be disclosed in the listing.
- Screen booking requests, but never on the basis of caste, religion, gender, disability, or origin. Discriminatory hosting ends hosting privileges.
Zero tolerance
Accounts are removed permanently, without a second warning, for: sexual misconduct or harassment, threats or violence, undisclosed surveillance of guests, trafficking, discrimination, and payment fraud. Where the law requires it, we report these to the authorities.
How we respond to a report
Every report reaches a human. Urgent safety reports are triaged first, usually within a few hours. We may temporarily unlist a property while we investigate, contact both parties for their account, and then restore, warn, or remove. We tell the reporter the outcome, without disclosing another person's private details.
